Laura Snaidr is a biologist and completed her Master’s degree at the Technical University of Munich. She specialized in neurobiology and microbiology in particular. She wrote her master’s thesis on Parkinson’s disease at the Helmholtz Center in Munich. <\/span><\/p>\n

After graduating, she spent 8 months in Southeast Asia, in particular on Koh Phangan in Thailand, where she came into intensive contact with the teachings of mindfulness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Laura combines her passions for classical biology and mindfulness teachings to take a holistic approach to health. With Magnospira, she wants to bring microbiology more into focus and help people take ownership of their health by connecting “bacteria”, “health” and “mindfulness”. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Jiri Snaidr is a microbiologist, technology innovator and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience. After completing his doctorate at the Technical University of Munich, Chair of Microbiology, he founded vermicon AG<\/a> in 1997 and remains its CEO to this day. vermicon offers companies worldwide solutions for microbiology, focusing primarily on the detection of non-culturable and unknown microorganisms using VIT\u00ae gene probe technology. He has published numerous papers in prestigious journals and is an international speaker on topics related to entrepreneurship and applied microbiology. As part of the GO-Bio funding program, he was a reviewer at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research for many years. <\/p>\n

As Vice-President of the VAAM<\/a> (Association for General and Applied Microbiology), he is committed to a future in which applied microbiology plays a key role.<\/p>\n

He is an expert on health issues and a follower of mindfulness meditation. As a student of Master Han Shan<\/a>, he knows the power and importance of the moment. <\/p>\n

He realized early on that the public image of bacteria is distorted and that their true role for humans and nature is not sufficiently appreciated.
